On the last episode of Boston Legal called "Dances with Wolves," Denny faced arrest when he was found carrying a concealed firearm which he used to shoot a man who tried to mug him and Jerry.  It pretty much looked like a case of self-defense.  Meanwhile, Alex fought for the right of a sex surrogate to get joint custody of her daughter.

On tonight's episode of Boston Legal called "True Love," Alan Shore is called by a former flame by the name of Phoebe Prentice to get him to defend her husband's innocence in the nurse murder case.  As he is in love with Phoebe, he kind of wishes that her husband is guilty so they can rekindle their relationship.  Meanwhile, Denny thinks it will all work out for Alan since the client is unlikeable and the jury will rule against him.  This moral and professional dilemma will be the center of the Boston Legal episode as he secretly hopes for a conviction.

As for the ratings, Boston Legal could only do so much against CSI: Miami's “And How Does that Make You Kill?”  Attracting 9.5 million viewers, it was second in its timeslot, a 50-percent decline from its lean-in but still above its 8.9 million average last season.  CSI: Miami ruled the 10pm hour with 13.62 million viewers.

Boston Legal stars James Spader as Alan Shore, John Larroquette as Carl Sack, Christian Clemenson as Jerry Espenson, Tara Summers as Katie Lloyd, with Candice Bergen as Shirley Schmidt and William Shatner as Denny Crane.

Previously, we reported that Star Trek's Captain Kirk, William Shatner, has turned down a role in the new Star Trek film.  According to rumors, he was expecting a bigger role and when it wasn't given to him, negotiations broke down.
