How Will Booth and Brennan Reunite?

When Bones season 7 ended with Brennan driving off into the sunset -- with baby Christine in the backseat and Booth left behind -- fans may have been concerned about the future of this TV relationship. Were we right? An interview between Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan and TVGuide.com has a few tidbits on this.

Unfortunately, there are both positive and negative tidbits included in these Bones season 8 spoilers.

• What will Booth's reaction to Brennan's disappearance be? In a word, angry. Actually, Nathan used the word "furious" in his interview: "He's furious. He's furious at Max, but he understands. He's furious with Brennan because 'Wasn't there some way that she could include him? Why didn't she trust him with that information?'"
• But don't worry about Booth spurning Brennan on her return. He's just as honorable and smitten as ever.
• The key to the return of Brennan is the reveal of Christopher Pelant as the man behind framing our heroine for murder. We can expect the Jeffersonian team to begin the season pursuing all leads in this direction. But they might not beat Pelant so quickly... As Stephen Nathan put it, "Pelant is by no means gone."
• Brennan hasn't been entirely silent in her absence -- someone in the main cast has been in touch with her. And no, it's not Booth.
  

What Happened Next on Castle?

It's safe to say that no Castle fans have forgotten the end of the season 3 finale. I would imagine that many fans have re-watched that final, passionate encounter many, many times in the past few months. I have anyway.

So what happens next?

Judging from an interview between TVGuide.com and Castle creator and executive producer Andrew Marlowe, we obsessed fans are not going to be disappointed. Instead, Castle season 5 will show us exactly what happened after Castle and Beckett kissed in Castle's doorway.

Yay! I hope...

It's OK to be hopeful. As Marlow explained in his interview, "We think it's important to show the fans what this moment means for Beckett and Castle and how it may change and complicate their relationship." We don't even have to expect that relationship to go badly -- Andrew Marlow said that Castle season 5 would take the time to explore "the fun of being in a relationship."

That's just fine.

On other Castle fronts, we can expect Alexis to keep interning with Lanie in the medical examiner's office, while Ryan and Esposito try to rekindle their bromance after the season 4 finale's disintegration.

And there will definitely be some forward movement in the case of Beckett's mother's murder! "We do want to give Beckett some level of resolution. It's time to move beyond that mystery," Marlow explained.
