The Bones news has been a little lean of late -- you'd think they were busy filming the show or something -- but that doesn't mean there's no Bones at all to keep us going. Keep on reading for a few spoilers of note, related to that coming baby and to guest casting.

Not a Long Wait to Pick Nursery Colors
Unlike many TV parents, it doesn't sound like Brennan and Booth will wait until their child's birth to find out exactly what variety of baby they're going to get. That's good news for those of us who don't like to wait for anything at all on television.

Whatever the outcome of the necessary tests for such things, we can expect Booth and Brennan to find out the sex of their unborn baby at some point in the second episode of season 7 (according to a report from EW.com).

I guess the next question will be the baby's name.

Ben Savage to Guest Star
It's not just about babies over on Bones. They have crimes to solve as well. And one of those crimes will involve Ben Savage, formerly the child star of Boy Meets World.

As reported by TVLine, Ben Savage will play a murder suspect in an episode surrounding the purchase of a lottery ticket (A winning ticket? No word on that, but who murders over a losing lottery ticket?). Savage's character will be a former employee at a shipping store. Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan was quoted as saying that the character was a "murder suspect who is married to another suspect who has bought a lottery ticket with two other suspects."

That's a lot of suspects.

The initial news of Ben Savage's casting on the Bones episode was broken on August 24 by the actor on his Twitter feed: "First day on the set of 'Bones'. Great show and a very talented cast!" Savage's episode should air in December.
