Canadian actor Kyle Schmid was born on August 24, 1984 in Mississauga, Ontario. He has had a number of roles both on television and in films, appearing in The Cheetah Girls, Degrassi: The Next Generation, The Pacifier, The Zack Files, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and The Covenant. Aside from his acting, Kyle Schmid also plays on the Erin Mills soccer team in Ontario, and enjoys swimming, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
Henry Fitzroy is a vampire played by Kyle Schmid in the Canadian television series Blood Ties. Though he currently resides in Toronto, he is the bastard son of Henry VIII, and the former Duke of Richmond. He was turned 450 years ago by a vampire named Christina, though he fled from her after their vampire natures nearly caused them to murder each other. In modern times, he maintains a reputation as an exceptionally talented yet reclusive graphic novelist, and still retains the hauntingly handsome appearance of a young man in his early 20s. Henry often struggles with his nature as a creature of the night, fighting the urge to give in to his savage thirst and clinging to the persona of a civilized man. He usually feeds on willing lovers who offer their blood to him, but is also willing to kill criminals and other evils who threaten his city.
