The power is up for grabs on Big Brother 12
, and with just one more eviction until the HGs reach the jury house, this week is very important.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 12 spoilers.
Rachel nominated Kristen and Hayden.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
The Power of Veto competition was hosted by Brendon and also included Enzo, Britney and Ragan.Britney won the Power of Veto.
There were also prizes/punishments:Rachel won $5,000
Enzo won a 3-D TV
Kristen has to wear a hippie unitard for the week
Hayden is on slop and solitary confinement in the Have-Not roomRagan won a Veto Ticket (a pass that let's him play in a future Veto comp without having to be picked)
That really sucks that the actual nominees got shafted.
The winner is a bit of a surprise, as she and Brendon are the only HGs to win the Veto. Also because, last night the backyard was filled with a giant pinball-type machine for the HGs to practice on and Britney wasn't practicing nearly as much as others, meaning it was probably all random luck.
It also spells disaster for Kristen. I doubt Britney will use it, keeping everything the same and evicting Kristen. Humiliation and probable eviction? She doesn't deserve that after flying under the radar for the first few weeks.
There could definitely be some craziness to try and backdoor someone like Kathy this week, but Britney is probably scared that if she takes someone off, Matt, Enzo or Lane could go up.
I also find it fascinating that, with only eight game-related competitions so far, three HGs have double victories. Britney and Brendon have two PoVs, Rachel has two HoHs and the other HoHs are Hayden and Matt. That means half the current HGs haven't won anything. It also means that Britney has a specialty: random luck.
Rachel's wins come in mental challenges, Brendon won with spelling and counting, but Britney's victories were at things based largely on a random luck of the draw.
Will Britney use the PoV? We'll most likely find out tomorrow.(Image courtesy of CBS)
