Michael Park was born on July 20, 1968 in New York. He grew up with his parents and siblings also in New York and was educated at Nazareth College. He wanted to become an architect before he ventured into acting. In college, he garnered many lead roles in school productions, thus he entered Repertory Theater where he played the role of Raoul in the national tour of Phantom of the Opera. He later appeared in Broadway where he starred in Smokey Joe's Cafe. Park is also into sports like softball and golf.
Jack Snyder is portrayed by Michael Park on the soap opera As the World Turns. Jack's goal in coming to Oakdale was to investigate James Stenbeck. After completing his mission, he was hired by the Police Department and was reacquainted with his family, including cousin Holden Snyder. His next task was to help Holden find his lost daughter. Jack's love interest in Oakdale was Carly Tenney, who at first he did not like at all. They got closer when they were assigned to together investigate arsonist Teague. Their feelings intensified when Carly and Jack got trapped in a cabin. When they were freed, Jack wanted to continue the relationship but Carly broke his heart by chosing to pursue Hal Munson.
