As usual the upcoming Fall TV season will have a multiverse spanning event over on The CW. TVLine reports that at Television Critics Association, CW President Mark Pedowitz announced when the next 4-way crossover between Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow will be happening. While the event is still coming and during its usual time period, it is going to look a little different this year.

All four superhero shows will fully participate in the crossover, including Supergirl which only really teased the event in the last crossover. The crossover won't last almost all week this time. This is not just because The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow will be airing on the same night. The 4-way crossover will take place across two nights with Arrow moving to a special night and time.

The event will begin on Monday, November 27 at 8/7c on Supergirl. Arrow will then move from its usual time slot this season at Thursday at 9/8c to Monday at 9/8c behind Supergirl to continue the crossover. Things will finally wrap up on Tuesday, November 28 with The Flash at 8/7c and Legends of Tomorrow at 9/8c.

The decision was influenced greatly by Legends and The Flash already being paired on Tuesday. According Pedowitz, The CW didn't see a reason to have people wait until Thursday for Arrow to wrap things up or move Arrow back to its old Wednesday time slot for the event.

"We felt that it would be better and tighter in storytelling," Pedowitz said of the change. "This was the best way to go." Pedowitz did tease that maybe in future years, because annual crossovers are the plan for the foreseeable future, that things might move back to being a four night affair. For now though the Arrowverse will be sticking with this plan.

Pedowitz didn't give any plot details on what that the crossover will entail. He did tease that "romance will be in the air." Barry Allen and Iris West did engaged at the end of The Flash season 3 and Arrow season 5 suggested that Oliver and Felicity might renew their engagement as well. Over on Supergirl, Alex and Maggie also seemingly got engaged at the end of season 2. It is possible then that the crossover might see a double or even triple wedding.

But what do you think? What do you hope happens in the crossover? Is a two-night event better than a four-night one?

The next season of the CW's superhero universe will begin with Supergirl season 3 on Monday, October 9 at 8/7c on The CW. Want more news? Like our Supergirl Facebook page.
