Buddy Battles: Why You Should Vote 'Arrow' as the Best Scooby Gang
Buddy Battles: Why You Should Vote 'Arrow' as the Best Scooby Gang
Contributing Writer, BuddyTV
The cast of CW's Arrow is the ultimate Scooby gang. They're dependable, highly skilled and led by an unnaturally attractive billionaire. If Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark had a child, he would be Oliver Queen. But Oliver's only one part of a well oiled machine that includes an ex-solider, a trained assassin, a hacker and a genetically modified street punk.

Why do they deserve your vote? Because they protect the innocent from more than just criminals. Team Arrow faces everyone from corrupt politicians to mercenaries with a score to settle. Their work puts a damper on their personal lives, but it's a sacrifice they're willing to make. That selflessness is what keeps the bad guys at bay.

Arrow's Scooby gang includes two certified superheroes and one in training. By day, Oliver Queen is the head honcho at Queen Consolidated. By night he's the Arrow, a masked vigilante whose archery skills are unmatched. After five years stranded on an island, Oliver knows how to stay alive. He went from a spoiled playboy to a man with a purpose. That purpose is to help those who can't help themselves.

Fighting by Arrow's side is Sara Lance, better known as Canary. Like Oliver she also spent time on the island, but her story didn't stop there. She traveled the world and ended up in the League of Assassins. There she learned martial arts from the same master who taught Batman. In other words, she's a ninja. A real life ninja. You can't beat that.

Felicity Smoak hasn't met a computer she didn't like. She's extremely intelligent and can break into and rewrite any program. If you need a camera hacked, she can do it. A phone line bugged? She's got it covered. Who wouldn't want someone like that on their team?

John Diggle is ex-military. He lives by a certain code both on and off the battlefield. He's one of the most honorable men you'll ever meet. But don't be fooled by his calm demeanor. Diggle is extremely smart, resourceful and savvy when it comes to getting out of a jam.

Roy Harper has a lot to learn, and he's being taught by the best. As Arrow's apprentice, he's next in line to deliver hooded justice. Roy isn't your average student. He has a biological advantage. Roy was injected with a serum called Mirakuru, that's given him superhuman abilities. His strength, speed and endurance are on a whole other level.

Most of these guys have faced death and lived to see another day. Don't you want that kind of fearlessness on your side? Team Arrow will protect you by any means necessary.
