Eva Pigford gained fame and popularity as a contestant on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3. Although she was considered the underdog throughout the show since she was the shortest of all the contestants at 5’7”, she lasted through each challenge and defeated Yaya Da Costa Johnson in the end. For the win, she acquired a contract with Ford Models, a $100,000 modeling contract with CoverGirl and a fashion spread in Elle magazine.

With the prizes earned from America’s Next Top Model, Pigford was headed to a promising modeling career. She appeared on the cover of Women’s Health and Fitness, King magazine, IONA and Essence magazine. She also acquired modeling gigs for DKNY, Samsung, King magazine, Star Magazine, Applebottoms and Lerner Catalog. On the runway, she graced numerous events, which included Marc Bouwer Fall 2005, ELLEgirl presents Dare To Be You: Wal-Mart Meets America's Next Top Model 2005, Gharani Strok Fall 2005, Deborah Lindquist Spring 2006, Naqada Spring 2006, and 8th Annual 'Models of Perfection' Show 2006. In addition, she guest starred on television shows like Wild ‘N Out, Kevin Hill, The Wedding Album, The Game, E! True Hollywood Story, and worked in films like Crossover, Premium and The Walk. She also served as the host of My Model Looks Better Than Your Model, a reality game show on BET. Recently, she made a movie with Chris Rock entitled I Think I Love My Wife, in which she played the character Hope.

At present, the 22-year old model goes by the name Eva Marcelle, which is her middle name, and continues to be seen gracing fashion events and runway shows.
