Last week's elimination of Clark from Cycle 11 of America's Next Top Model
wasn't really too much of a surprise. What was a little less expected was Joslyn tumbling all the way to the bottom two, and turning in a photograph that showed little of the glamorous promise she displayed earlier in the season.
Can Joslyn pull herself together and deliver the fierceness this week? If so, which other girls could be trending down to that bottom spot?
America's Next Top Model is available on Amazon Prime.
For all of her nerves, and her struggling last shoot, I think Marjorie has some underlying innate modeling ability. But she's annoying the other housemates – and potentially America's Next Top Model viewers – with her “European” tendency to take a negative view of things. Okay, I realize her parents are French, and therefore she's had them as influences, but didn't she say she moved here when she was seven or so? I'm not saying she has to actually feel a sunny American optimism and can-do attitude, but by now, she should be able to at least fake it. I still enjoy her work, though, and hope she sticks around.
Elina's tendency towards being too controlling in her shoots hasn't yet completely prevented her from getting a good shot. But with her natural striking beauty, smarts and presence, her photographs should consistently be the best in the bunch. Her being a little uptight seems to be holding her back from reaching the heights she should get to.
Analeigh is improving, and Sheena continues to fly under the radar, but I still have my eye on the two of them as potential stories to watch. Whether it's positive or negative, I can't tell yet, but this might be the episode to send them off in one direction or the other.
We'll see what happens on this episode of America's Next Top Model.
