Missing JabbaWocKeeZ Like Pants w/o Undies and other 'ABDC' Updates
It's show time this week for Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew, when season 2 of the reality competition kicks off Thursday, June 19.  The season actually got underway two weekends ago, with the live casting special, which took place June 7 from 2-4:30pm.  Following the live casting call, first season winner JabbaWocKeeZ shared the spotlight with judge Shane Sparks to give viewers their very own private dance lessons.  Conspicuous during their instructional routines was the absence of one JabbaWocKeeZ member, and we have the story on why the group was a man short.

In other news, we have some updates on preparations behind the scenes for Thursday's second season premiere, as well as the skinny on a possible name change this early in the game.

First, on to our main story.  MTV spoke to the guys of JabbaWocKeeZ about being undermanned when they performed during the "Walk It Out with the JabbaWocKeeZ and Shane Sparks" segment that followed the live casting show.  In an exclusive backstage interview, the JabbaWocKeeZ crew told MTV why one of them didn't take to the stage.

“It's been an injury that's been happening for a while but I finally got it tricked [?] up on.  I tore my meniscus on my knee,” Rynan Shawn Paguio told MTV.  “Things happen.  I mean you're a dancer - this is what we go through as dancers.  You get injured but you recover, so that's what I'm doing.  I'm just recovering right now.”

Judging from group mate Kevin Brewer's analogy, we sure hope Rynan gets back to his feet soon.

“It doesn't feel complete.  It's almost like putting your pants on with no underwear.  It's like, wait, something's just not right,” Brewer remarked, eliciting laughter from the other guys.

In other news, MTV's official America's Best Dance Crew page includes a blog entry of the 10 contending groups for this second season.  All crews are reportedly deep in rehearsals to get their various routines and choreographies down pat in time for Thursday's premiere.  The blog also reports that Sass x7, the group many consider as having wrongfully stolen Shhh!'s thunder at the live auditions, is now considering renaming themselves Sass For Days.

Don't miss the premiere of season 2 of Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew this Thursday, June 19 at 10pm.
