It's down to the Top 10 on The Voice, with Adriana Louise and Michaela Paige having been eliminated a few days ago. Those two are going to miss out on a fantastic opportunity, because on Monday, the remaining contestants will be mentored by none other than American Idol alum and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson. If you need further proof, here's a TV promo that makes it official:

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

American Idol is known for bringing on different guest mentors every week. But this seems to be a first for the live shows of The Voice (outside of guest mentors during the pre-taped battle rounds.) It'll be interesting to see if they continue to do this in upcoming weeks.

And by the way, this isn't the first time there's been cross-over between the two singing competition shows: Kelly Clarkson mentored Blake Shelton's team during last season's battle rounds. And Frenchie Davis and Jamar Rogers were contestants on both shows.

NBC may be bringing on Jennifer Hudson as a mentor, but that doesn't seem to be the real reason why we'll see her on our TV screens Monday night. She's coming to promote Smash, which she'll be guest starring on next year. That's right -- we're getting our "first extended sneak peek" of season 2, according to TVLine.

And in anticipation of that first look, the season 2 poster has been revealed, featuring returning cast members Anjelica Huston, Katharine McPhee, Jack Davenport, Leslie Odom, Jr., Megan Hilty, Christian Borle and Debra Messing. The new faces on the below poster are Andy Mientus as Kyle, Jeremy Jordan as Jimmy, Krysta Rodriguez as Ana and Jennifer Hudson as Veronica. (BuddyTV also reported the other day that Liza Minnelli will guest star as herself in an episode.)

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC. Smash season 2 premieres February 5 at 9pm, also on NBC.
