season four winner, Carrie Underwood
has been triumphant in nearly all aspects in her life, evident in her being hailed winner of the popular talent competition and her acquisition of numerous awards from various award-giving bodies. However, there is one aspect of her life that could use some luck…her love life.
Previously, the American Idol
champ has been romantically linked to Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboy quarterback, and British singer Oliver Trevena. But all the hype never really materialized.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
According to People, Underwood considers her fame and flourishing career as a positive feature as well as a hindrance in finding love. She said, “Guys who would never look at me twice before might ask me out now, so I guess I have better opportunities. But when I do meet a guy, there's this 'Does he just want his picture in a magazine?' factor.”
Nevertheless, she remains optimistic about finding Mr. Right even if she considers her self as shy and horrible around guys. “I'm not saying I want to get married tomorrow, but I'd like to have someone other than my mom to call when I have good news,” she said.
While maintaining a pleasing façade can be helpful in attracting Mr. Right, she claims that her effort to look good is a marketing effort that would help promote and sell her albums. "The music business is about packaging. People have to be pleased by what they see on TV or they'll change the channel," Underwood told Cosmopolitan.
Underwood, a 24-year old native of Checotah, Oklahoma, graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern State University with a bachelor's degree in mass communication and an emphasis in journalism. After her stint on American Idol, she became a multi-platinum selling recording artist.
