The second season of FX's Emmy-nominated American Horror Story will scare viewers starting in October, but now we have our first look at what's to come. Sort of.

The first promo for American Horror Story: Asylum is a weird, creepy vignette similar to those strange random promos from season 1. In this video a nun (presumably Jessica Lange's character, a nun who runs an insane asylum on the east coast in the 1960s) walks towards a forest with two buckets and dumps one out. It sounds harmless enough, but what exactly is in that bucket? My money is on human entrails.



The second season of American Horror Story will use many of the same actors from season 1, but in completely different roles. The returning cast includes Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe. Notable guest stars will include The Voice's Adam Levine, Big Love's Chloe Sevigny, James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Clea Duvall, Mark Consuelos, Franka Potente and The Secret Circle's Chris Zylka.
