Denise is played by Jill Bartlett in Comedy Central's new series,
American Body Shop. Raised by a single mother (a Las Vegas blackjack dealer), she was a cheerleader in high school who clung steadfastly to her virginity, waiting for the right guy. After she was let down by the man she thought that she would marry, she immediately broke up with him and hasn't had any bedroom fun since. Denise also gave up training as a dental hygienist after she discovered, to her amazement, that the insides of people's mouths are swarming with bacteria. She wound up a receptionist at the body shop, showing a natural aptitude for customer service and organizing documents.
