James "Jim" Belushi was born on June 15, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. Previously, he worked in the Chicago theater group The Second City. He got his first break in television on Who's Watching the Kids. In addition, he appeared on Saturday Night Live and portrayed numerous characters like Hank Rippy from "Hello, Trudy!", and "That White Guy." His other credits included About Last Night, Taking Care of Business, Race the Sun, The Mighty Ducks, K-9, and Little Shop of Horrors. Moreover, he became part of the sitcom According to Jim where he plays Jim. Jim is the husband of Cheryl and the father of Ruby, Gracie and Kyle. He runs a construction business while maintaining a six-man garage band.
