Lombardi joined the cast of
24 during the show's fourth season, but his character was later written off the show as the fifth season was drawing to a close. He was surprised when the producers told him about the fate of his character, and they added that although his character was among the most loved on the show, they felt it was necessary to shock the viewers.
Born in 1968 in the Bronx, New York, Louis Lombardi received his training from the Actors Commercial Workshop and New York University. Aside from acting, Lombardi has also dabbled in screenwriting and directing. He has completed his first independent film entitled The Boss. The Boss was shot at the popular Los-Angeles based nightclub Roxbury, and follows the story of a nasty nightclub owner on New Year's Eve. However, according to Lombardi's website, The Boss will not be his final project, as he has planned to continue his pursuit of becoming an accomplished writer and director.
