Facebook Fan Alana Friedman wants to know if you think Chloe will end up with Brian or Alek?
Oh man, the question that keeps on coming. I certainly can't say. I know what happens at the end of this season, but as far as the length of this show, who knows? It's really up to the fans to decide. I think it's one of those things where the way that people experience Chloe King
and just kind of teen shows in general, fans and bloggers and Tweeters and everyone, they're such a vital part to the writers, how the show unfolds. We really do respond to what people feel and think, so we've heard a lot of different things and all of them are being taken into consideration. So the future of Chloe and Alek or Chloe and Brian is yet to be determined, but there's definitely a little romance with each this season. I think both teams will get their fix, but in the long run, it's hard to say.A couple episodes back we thought Brian was going to be history, but thankfully he stuck around in the end.
I know. Oh my gosh, these next couple episodes -- I've been telling people this and I'm glad we're finally here. Like episode six on, there's kind of like this breaking point, as far as the love triangle goes, so it gets much more interesting and complicated, but it's really exciting and romantic, and thrilling. It's really awesome, so these next few episodes are gonna be good. Can you tell us anything about future bad guys, or hunters, that are coming up this season?
Well, there's definitely always this bad guy that Chloe encounters in every episode. She's put in a new circumstance, a new situation where she's gotta fend them off, she's gotta fight for her life, or defend someone else's. But in the over-arching story of the show, we have The Order, with Brian's dad and his associates who are after Chloe.
While Chloe is dealing with some of the bad guys on a smaller level, on a bigger level the hunt to get Chloe King becomes more and more of a challenge. Eventually, those two types of villains collide by the end of the season and Chloe is dealing with a wider range of bad guys, some of whom she just can't fight off. It definitely gets more complicated as the season goes on. Chloe is unfolding and introducing the audience to the idea of The Order.Chloe King works at a vintage shop. You're pretty young but have you personally had any jobs growing up?
Actually, I've been working at this, it has kind of been my side job for a long time. But I actually did community service with the American Cancer Society group, and I worked in a store, kind of like Chloe, a second-hand store and I got to run the front desk and help customers. So having done that was actually a good experience, started pressing for that, so I know how to work like the tagging gun, and the register. I feel like a pro. I know what I'm doing.
When it comes to Chloe's superpowers they can get her into a bit of trouble like when she eavesdropped on Amy's conversation earlier this season. Even with the risks, superpowers can be fun. Which of Chloe's abilities do you think are the most fun? Earlier this season we saw Chloe get into a bit of trouble with her best friend Amy when she used her super-hearing but her powers are still fun. What is your favorite superpower of Chloe King's?
I think the super-hearing can be really fun. It's good for eavesdropping, but certainly as we learned it could get Chloe into lots of trouble. But I also think the empathy hits are really interesting. They make Chloe unique because it's not something that other Mai have. That's completely unique to Chloe. So I think that that's probably one of my favorites that she has, because of the really interesting way of approaching the people that come into Chloe's life. She just has these emotional connections with strangers or people she knows. It's totally random. She has very deep emotional connections and she's able to find out things about people that they might not normally offer up.
You know in episode 4, Lana, her boss at the store, we found out, was hiding a huge secret. And Chloe ended up saving her life. But that's never something Chloe would've found out had she just hung out and kept working with Lana. So definitely this comes a side of superpowers for Chloe as the season goes on. It's a great tool, but it's also a great threat. It works both ways.Do you do a lot of your own stunts on the The Nine Lives of Chloe King?
Chloe definitely keeps me moving. I do a lot of my own stunts for the show. I have a great stunt double and a great stunt coordinator who help me learn. Certainly there are some things they can't have me do, like they can't throw me out of the window. That's kind of a liability. But a lot of the fighting, I just started to learn some new flips. I've learned a lot more and have been able to do a lot more. I probably do like 80-85% of my own stuff, which is really great. I'm hoping as the show goes on, I'll be able to do it all one day. That would be wonderful.I've read that you like to travel. Can you tell me about one of your favorite places you've been?
Oh goodness, yes. I do love to travel and I have a big family. I'm the middle of five, so it's always a fun experience because traveling with all of us is like in those movies with the big family vacations. It's always kind of chaotic but fun. My favorite place to go would be France. We love going to France and road-tripping and just driving around the country and discovering fun places and we love to eat. So food is definitely a big part of the travel. There are so many more places on my list that I would love to see. You've never actually been to Comic-Con before. Are you looking forward to any particular panels?
I don't know details about some of the panels going on, but I have heard some news about different people who are attending Comic-Con. I'm very excited that the Twilight
cast is going to be there, it's my guilty pleasure to tell you the truth. So that's cool. I can't wait to the people walk around, see the costumes. The whole thing is like this elaborate sci-fi festival. I can't wait to just experience and be a part of it.Find out Skyler Samuels TV obsession here>> For complete details on the Obsessions panel this Thursday and all the interviews with the panelists click here
