You know I’m a spoiler kind of gal. Do you like spoilers too? Want some? Read on.

You already know that the entire cast will be back for season eight. If you don’t where the heck have you been? Maybe you’ve probably been on vacation. Hope it was nice.

Warning: This article contains spoilers!

First we’ll get some NCIS goodies from Director Leon Vance himself actor Rocky Carroll. It seems there is some unsettled business with Ziva David’s (Cote de Pablo) father Eli.

“We’ve got a few old scores to settle – primarily with Ziva’s dad, Eli David, played by the brilliant Michael Nouri,” Carroll told Matt Webb Mitovich of Fancast.

Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) will be having another visit from Daddy.

“And we’re also going to have a visit from Mr. Robert Wagner, who plays DiNozzo’s father. So look forward to that,” Carroll said.

In the final episode of last season Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ (Mark Harmon) father he was about to have a visit from a not so nice guest. The Reynosa’s were reaching out to the elder Gibbs and things looked bleak.

Executive producer Shane Brennan wasn’t giving anything away.

“Gibbs is his father’s son,” he said cryptically.

Now what exactly does that mean? The senior Gibbs has numbered rules? He likes coffee? He is tenacious? If Gibbs is a ‘chip off the old block’ then what wood was the block made from? I would welcome a bigger hint on this but Brennan doesn’t seem to be in a sharing mood. What do you think he meant?

But he did give a taste of the season that has been cooked up for us. According to TV Fanatic he has hinted we may get some flashbacks as to how a couple of the characters came to be on Gibbs’ team. We may possibly learn more about Tony and Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette). That is something to look forward to. I love back-stories. I want to know everything about my favorite characters. Don’t you?

I can’t wait for the new season. But I guess I’ll have to. The new season of NCIS begins September 21. I could eat it up with a spoon.
