The Power of Veto ceremony was explosive on the first week of Big Brother 19 with Cody trying to backdoor Paul and being thwarted by the Pendant of Protection. But with Paul as HoH in week 2, did he flip the script and backdoor Cody?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 19 spoilers.

Paul won the Power of Veto.

He used it to save Josh. Cody is the replacement nominee.

This is no surprise to anyone as the entire house knew that Paul’s plan was to backdoor Cody. Even though Ramses has definitely become a target after he almost won the Power of Veto, Cody is still public enemy #1 and will almost certainly be evicted 9-1, with Jessica as the only holdout.

The rest of the week should be pretty dull. Paul is still hard at work trying to set up Jessica, Ramses and Jason as the next three targets for the house and his alliance of groupies (Mark, Elena, Matt, Raven, Dominique and Christmas) are eating it up. However, Alex and Jason still seem to be eager to start a rebel alliance against the showmances.

Cody’s main plan is to try and get the target for next week to be a weak girl like Raven or Elena or Christmas because he thinks there might be a Battle Back and that would give him the best possible chance to come back into the game.
