Biography

Qaasim Middleton is a musician and actor who was born on January 13, 1996 in Brooklyn, New York. His full name is Qaasim Asani Malik Seawright-Middleton, and he is the son of Keith Middleton and Toni Seawright. His father is a member of the cast of Stomp and a “Wild Child,” while his mother is an actress, songwriter, and singer, as well as the first African-American Miss Mississippi and a Miss America runner-up. He likewise has a brother named Khalil. Middleton is also involved with The Naked Brothers Band of the Wolff brothers Alex and Nat, appearing in the musical group’s namesake documentary-style television series on Nickelodeon.

As a member of the Naked Brothers, Middleton is the band’s newest member and one of their resident guitar players. He has been described as being very intelligent and attractive, and often gets a lot of attention from their female fans. Middleton has also been featured in the HBO production The Music in Me, where he performed as a percussionist. Apart from playing the drums and the guitar, he is also a trained dancer, familiar with various styles such as ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, and modern, though his preferred genre is African dance.
