This is how the structure of The Secret Circle works: Cassie, Blackwell and Jake work on whatever witch-related crisis there is that week. Sometimes, the adults have their own side adventures. Faye, Melissa, Diana and occasionally Adam are left to have fun with their powers, love lives and whatever else these kids do. Cassie is still on the side acting as if everything is all about her, because the show structures it that way (no wonder she thinks that). Tonight‘s episode may be the biggest apology for all of that by at least recognizing this flaw. We can see if it will follow through for episodes to come. It does not change in tonight‘s episode, but at least the show kind of recognizes this.
