Earmarked for its edgy and dynamic cast and first-rate production, NCIS’s fifth aims to secure the show in the procedural hall of fame. After what some considered an anti-climatic fourth season finale, NCIS returns with a reinvigorated writing team, including creator Donald P. Bellisario who is anxious to prove why he is a television drama icon.
