After tonight’s “Black Hole” there won’t be a new House episode until April 12. But don’t fret House fans, since the April 12 episode – “Lockdown” – will not only feature star Hugh Laurie’s directorial debut on the Fox series, it also marks the return of Jennifer Morrison.

And not only that, talking to TV Guide, Morrison also revealed that Cameron is also set to appear on a “few” episodes next season.

“There have been discussions of me doing a few episodes next year based on what they end up writing,” she says. “Contractually, they’ve guaranteed me a certain number of episodes next year – I think three or four, which means that they’re probably very much leaning toward writing a storyline for the character.”

Morrison, who announced her departure from House in September last year, bagged the role of Kate Keller, the mother of Helen Keller, on the Broadway revival of The Miracle Worker, which runs through August 1.

On “Lockdown” Princeton Plainsboro goes into, well, lockdown mode due to a missing infant. Everyone must remain where they are, leaving Foreman (Omar Epps) and Taub (Peter Jacobson) in the file room, Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) and Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) in the cafeteria, House (Laurie) in a room with a patient (guest star David Strathaim), and Chase (Jesse Spencer) with an old flame.

Could Cameron be this old flame? How generic. Last we checked, Chase was speed-dating with House and Wilson and talking to Thirteen. Incidentally, Strathaim played Captain Keller, the father of Helen Keller, in the 2000 remake of The Miracle Worker.
