Earlier today, we got our first listen at all eight songs featured in next Tuesday’s Saturday Night Fever tribute episode of Glee. When listening, what did you think of “You Should Be Dancing”? Do you want to see it in context and how it’s going to be portrayed on the show? If so, then you’re in luck…
FOX has released another “Saturday Night Glee-ver” preview video, coming on the heels of the girls covering “Disco Inferno.” In it, we see Blaine, Brittany and Mike perform the Bee Gees hit, “You Should Be Dancing.” The students are silently working in a classroom. But when the music starts, Blaine starts off the performance. And right on cue, there’s the disco ball. Brittany and Mike join in. The song eventually transitions to them performing on the auditorium stage in front of the rest of the Glee Club.
Take a look below:
And check out this behind the scenes look at the filming of these tribute performances, with interviews from the cast:
According to a FOX press release, “When Will worries some of his students are lacking a clear direction for their futures, he tries to inspire them through the music of Saturday Night Fever. While some of the students use the lesson to get a clearer idea of what they want from their lives, it inspires others to take an extra step towards helping their loved ones achieve their dreams.” Do you think Blaine, Brittany and Mike have found their inspiration in the above performance?
Glee airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
