The time has finally come for fans to bid farewell to one of the key players of CSI.  After seven years of playing Sara Sidle, Jorja Fox is ready to exit the forensic drama and move on.  But before she leaves, the 39-year-old actress will be portraying her character one last time, giving closure to the “Grissom Sara Romance” many fans have learned to adore, in tonight’s episode entitled “Goodbye and Good Luck.”

Read on for a preview of tonight’s episode of CSI.

In the seventh episode of the season 8, a suspect from Sara’s past comes back to hunt her, causing her to question her career as a CSI.  Not much has been revealed about Sara’s last episode but according to TV Guide, she leaves at night in a “vehicle of some sort and that the episode ends with a close-up of a different character.”

Joining Sara in her final chapter are Dr. Gilbert Arthur “Gil” Grissom, Ph.D. (William Petersen), Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan), and Nicholas “Nick” Stokes (George Eads), among others.

Reprising their roles on tonight’s episode are Juliette Goglia (Hannah West) and Douglas Smith (Marlon West), who both previously appeared on the episode “The Unusual Suspect,” along with Sheeri Rappaport (Mandy Webster), Jon Wellner (Henry Andrews), and Larry Sullivan (Officer Akers).

Riley Smith (Drive, Joan of Arcadia), Holland Roden (Back at the Ranch), Rene L. Moreno (Ugly Betty, Greetings from Tucson), Onahoua Rodriguez (The Shield), and Julianna Guill (CSI: Miami) also guest star.

“Goodbye and Good Luck” is directed by Kenneth Fink, who marks his 43rd turn in the director’s chair for CSI, and written by Allen MacDonald, who has written eight previous episodes, and Sara Goldfinger, who has written 20 episodes of CSI.

Fans can catch CSI tonight at 9pm ET/PT on CBS.
