The first week of Big Brother 19 has been filled with drama, especially for one houseguest who suffered an injury and whose fate in the game is questionable. Now she’s back with answers about whether she’s sticking around.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 19 spoilers.
On Monday, Christmas injured her foot while horsing around with Jason. She left the house to be treated by doctors and returned with a foot cast and crutches. On Wednesday she left the house again for an MRI to determine the damage.
Christmas Injures Her Foot on BB19>>>
When Christmas returned, she revealed that she has two broken bones in her foot. The producers let her decide whether to stay or leave, and Christmas chose to stay in the competition. However, the producers explained that they will not change and of the competitions and her doctors will decide on a case-by-case basis whether she will be able to compete in the challenges.
This definitely has a big impact on the game. Christmas is currently on the block next to Jillian and it looks as though she will have the votes to stay. Moving forward, the fact that she may not be able to even participate in some of the HoH and PoV competitions could certainly play a role in decisions in the house. She won’t be much of an asset to help out if she can’t win HoH or PoV, but knowing that she’s injured may be a reason to keep her around because that’s one less person you’re competing against.
Christmas doesn’t know how long it will take for her to heal, but two broken bones in her foot is bound to be an issue every time a physical competition shows up. If there are balance beams or standing on the wall, she probably won’t be taking part.
