The Power of Veto has been used every week on Big Brother 15, and three of those times it was won by one of the nominees. Will this week make it five-out-of-five?

'Big Brother 15' Spoilers: Who Won the Week 5 Power of Veto?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 15 spoilers.

Aaryn nominated Howard and Spencer. America’s MVP nominee was Amanda. Jessie and Candice were also chosen to play in the Power of Veto competition.

Spencer won the Power of Veto.

Meh. Obviously, he will use it to save himself and Aaryn will have to name a replacement, but Howard is still the prime target. There was some discussion about potential replacements, but it seems Candice is the obvious choice to ensure one less vote for Howard. Candice asked Helen to talk to Aaryn and try to get her not to put her up, but Aaryn has already made the decision to do it.

The worst part is that, once the live feeds came back, Aaryn justified nominating Candice by saying that Candice has caused all of Aaryn’s problems in the house and is calling her a racist. She then once again showed no remorse, claiming she has never said anything racist and even admitted that though it might look bad (Aaryn nominating BOTH black people in the house), she’s fine with it. She added that Candice has ruined her reputation outside of the house and has made this an unsafe environment.

Wow. Just…wow. I’ll just let you soak that in for a minute, the fact that Aaryn believes Candice is to blame for the perception that Aaryn is a racist. And I’m sure when she gets out of the house, she’ll blame Candice for Aaryn losing her modeling job. I hope to God that, when Aaryn gets evicted, the producers put together a montage of ALL the racist things Aaryn has said in the house and runs it as a montage for her to watch during the post-eviction interview.

The level of hate and venom Aaryn, Amanda and GinaMarie have for Candice is absurd. Heck, I don’t even like Candice all that much, but she definitely doesn’t deserve this. No one does.

So now we have five days to see if Howard can possibly convince people to make a big move and take out Amanda, or if it’s just another inevitable eviction of someone who would dare go against the powerhouse of McManda.

I suppose there’s a chance Amanda slowly implodes, McCrae gets a little too pushy trying to ensure that his girlfriend stays, and people decide now is the time to make a huge move. Spencer would definitely be up for it, and maybe Helen and Elissa could be convinced, but then they’d need to swing two more votes. Could Judd and Jessie be convinced to make a power move against the other couple? Will Andy decide to actually do something? Can Howard get Aaryn and GinaMarie to work with him instead of the people who just saved them?

That’s a longshot. More likely than not, the house will take the easy way out, save the big move for another day, and get rid of Howard. As an amusing side note, Judd seems to be 100 percent certain that Howard has the Coup d’Etat, so he’s sucking up to Howard a lot just in case.

Now CBS will have to deal with the reaction of Aaryn nominating both black HGs and evicting one of them. I don’t envy them. If next year is All-Stars 2, can we just bring back all of the non-jury HGs from this season? I’d love to see Nick, Jeremy, Kaitlin and now (probably) Howard get a second chance.
