Previously on Supernatural: A crocotta played a mean trick on Dean, making him think he got a call from his Dead Dad John with insider tips on how to get out of his deal. It was a hoax, and time continues to run out as Sam and Dean desperately search for a way out.
In the appropriately named Erie, Pennsylvania, some hot shot plastic surgeon is shoved in his car trunk. Later we see the surgeon return to the hospital, severely injured. He opens his jacket to a nurse who's “seen everything,” and she screams in horror when his liver spills out of him.

All good things must come to an end and Supernatural is no exception. The series has attracted a solid fan following and has performed consistently in the ratings, but sooner or later, fans will have to bid farewell to the good-looking Winchester boys. The question is: when will it end?
Supernatural, which stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, is presently in its third season, finishing off the remaining new episodes after the two-month hiatus that was caused by the writers' strike. After that, fans still have 22 new episodes to look forward to, knowing that the series has already been given an early renewal by The CW for a fourth season. While the paranormal series may still come back for another run, the fifth season may also be its last.

Last week's episode of Supernatural left me with the impression that Dean may be destined to go to Hell. The Winchesters have explored every possible option to break Dean's contract over the course of season 3, and so far they've come up with nothing. Bobby can't help, Ruby (Katie Cassidy) can't help, and it's doubtful that John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will be returning from the grave with a last minute save anytime soon. The only person who may be able to help is Lilith, and she doesn't seem like the friendly, approachable type.
This Thursday's penultimate episode of the season, "Time Is On My Side," brings Bela back for what may be the final time. Will she offer up some answers, or is Dean doomed? To get fans ready for the new hour of Supernatural, we have two clips from the episode.

I'm not objective about last night's episode of Supernatural. I know many of you fans loved it because of the great emotional moments with Dean (Jensen Ackles), but for me, “Long-Distance Call” will forever be the episode I got to see first-hand. I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to TV, DVRing all my schedule shows well in advance, scheduling my entire life around the many shows I have to watch (not want to, have to). So to actually see talented people create something I love so much was an experience I never though I'd have.
It doesn't hurt that I got to watch a really good show get made. Though I wasn't an original fan, I've fallen quite hard for Supernatural, and I owe it all to this job and you, the passionate fans who convinced me this show was something special.

Previously on Supernatural: Dean sold his soul to a demon to save his brother, but upon learning that humans in Hell turn into demons, Dean began searching for a way to get out of the deal.
Four weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting the Vancouver set of Supernatural where I got to see them film scenes from tonight's episode. I toured the sets, talked to the stars and watched them film two scenes. As such, you'll have to forgive me when I geek out over stuff like the fact that I totally laid down on the Winchesters' motel bed (and before you ask, no, they weren't in it at the time).

After last week's stand-alone episode, Supernatural is back again tonight for some Dean-centric goodness.
In tonight's episode, entitled "Long-Distance Call," Dean (Jensen Ackles) is stunned after he receives a phone call from his dad (guest star Jeffrey Dean Morgan) who tells him he has a solution to get Dean out of his deal. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean fight because Sam is skeptical that it is really John on the other end of the phone and warns Dean not to listen to him but Dean disagrees and sets off on his own path to follow his father's orders.
