Fans of FOX's comedy lineup have a reason to celebrate today. The network has renewed Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mindy Project and New Girl for the 2014-15 season. Sophomore drama The Following has also been renewed.

"These shows are some of the best and acclaimed series on television, with influential, culture-driven stars, and some of the best, most creative talent behind the camera," Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, and Joe Early, COO, said in a statement. "All four are core assets within our 2014-15 portfolio of content, and we're really happy to bring them back to our FOX fans for another season."

Brookyn Nine-Nine will begin its sophomore season in the fall. Both The Mindy Project and The Following will return for season 3. And New Girl was picked up for season 4.

Despite low ratings, it doesn't come as a surprise that the Andy Samberg-starring comedy will be returning, since it won Best Comedy at this year's Golden Globes.

The most recent episodes of Brooklyn and New Girl received 2.6 million and 2.9 million viewers, respectively. Mindy has been on hiatus since its last episode aired on January 22 but returns on April 1.

This news follows FOX's previous renewals for Sleepy Hollow (for season 2), Glee (for season 6, which is expected to be its farewell season) and Bones (for season 10).

It is unknown at the moment if FOX will renew Almost Human, Dads, Enlisted or Raising Hope.

FOX recently made some scheduling changes for some of its other shows, including Rake moving to Fridays.
