Asia Biography:
Born on Valentine’s Day in 1989, Asia is a single mother from Mount Vernon, New York. At the young age of 18, Asia became one of the nine finalists on the CW reality television series, Pussycat Dolls Presents: The Search for the Next Doll. Prior to the show, Asia, as a dancer for the New York Knicks, entertained multitudes of fans with her sexy moves, graceful footwork and bouncy personality. Among her favorites are vanilla milkshake, chicken fingers, hamburgers and French fries. Her father is R&B musician, Joe Bataan, and she is part-Filipino, part-Puerto Rican and part-African American.
Her great vocal and performing skills and commanding stage presence were enough to convince the judges of Pussycat Dolls Presents: The Search for the Next Doll that Nitollano was deserving to earn the the much-coveted spot on the all-female music troupe. She joined the competition not just to pursue a life-long dream, but to also provide a better life for her young daughter. Throughout the competition, Nitollano was one of the strongest girls, having won two immunity challenges. She also conflicted with fellow finalist,
Melissa Reyes , after the latter made a comment regarding her daughter.
