Fans still upset over the lack of answers in the Lost series finale may soon find some relief, assuming they’re willing to shell out the big bucks.  Michael Emerson told G4’s Attack of the Show that Lost: The Complete Collection, a DVD set hitting stores August 24, will include a 12-14 minute deleted scene he refers to as an epilogue for the series.

The extra scene will explore life for Hurley and Ben working together on the Island after the events of the finale.  As viewers learned, Hurley took over as the protector of the Island and Ben was enlisted as his Number 2 to help do things differently.

It’s unlikely that any huge, game-changing revelations or answers were left on the cutting room floor, but it will be interesting to see the Island again.  The only problem is that you’ll need to buy the DVD, which is selling for about $150 on Amazon.com. It’s a decent deal when you consider the fact that it features the entire series.
