We’ve already begun counting down to the premiere of Big Brother season 12 (a dozen already?), and we’re thrilled to report that the houseguests have been chosen at last. CBS hasn’t come up with a list yet, but hearing that is probably enough to amuse us for now.

Casting Done
According to the show’s official Twitter page, casting for spring is over and done with. Big Brother made the rounds throughout the country, scouring home videos and meeting personalities who wish to be the next face inside this famous house.

The statement says, “All finalist calls have been made. Thanks to all who came out to our casting calls and submitted home tapes for Big Brother!”

Casting Scams
WireUpdate, meanwhile, reports of CBS’ warning about companies pretending to be affiliated with the Big Brother casting team, which is headed by Robyn Kass. The news states that there is a fake group charging people for their submissions.

The Big Brother 12 Twitter page went on, “IMPORTANT- Companies charging for Big Brother castings, auditions, open calls, etc are NOT LEGIT. Please spread the word”.

Chen on Cam
Despite the trouble that ensued from that, the fans continue to support Big Brother, not to mention host Julie Chen. She will of course be returning to handle the houseguests while they stay in the house. But what about seeing this news anchor in her own home environment?

TV Squad caught the Chen-bot’s appearance on The Early Show, where she made quite a shocking revelation of her home habits. Check out her blankie, thick socks, and thumb-sucking clip below.
