In case you haven't heard, the second season of the original scripted award-winning, online companion series to CBS's
Ghost Whisperer has already began streaming as of Friday last week.
Ghost Whisperer: The Other Side II is the new season of webisodes that takes viewers to a unique journey from the perspective of a ghost as he learns to navigate the Spirit World and intersect the world of the living.
Season 2 picks up at the end of the
Ghost Whisperer television series' season 2 finale in which an earthbound spirit named Zach (Mark Hapka) made an appearance and was sucked into the Dark Side before being able to get help. On
Ghost Whisperer: The Other Side II, Zach attempts to find his way out of the Spirit World's Dark Side, after wrongly trying to avenge his death.
New webisodes will be graced by new characters including BJ (Lucas Alifano), an urban skateboarder who has been stuck in the Dark Side for nearly 20 years, Haley (Marie Westbrook), a spirit seductress who makes disingenuous attempts to befriend Zach, Lost Spirit (Braden Lynch), and Girlfriend (Tara Hunnewell) and Boyfriend (Gabriel Praddo), who are both haunted by the Spirit World.
In the first webisode, Zach meets Luke (Peter Douglas), a dark mysterious spirit collector, who is suddenly fixated on him.
Claudio Faeh, who is credited for
Coronado, Hollow Man 2, and
Starship Troopers: Marauder, will be reprising his directorial duties for the second season of the web series, which will air a new webisode every Friday through March 7.
The webisodes are produced by Slam Internet, Inc., a producer of original online content.
Meanwhile, fans can also catch reruns of
Ghost Whisperer every Friday at 8pm ET/PT on CBS.
