On Sunday’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Ross Mathews became the new HoH and nominated Omarosa and Keshia Knight Pulliam. However, he suggested that there may be a bigger move to make: backdooring Shannon Elizabeth. Will he go through with that move?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Celebrity Big Brother spoilers.

Since the Power of Veto will play out live Monday night immediately before the eviction, the plan is still up in the air. Ross has been going back and forth for most of the weekend on the idea to backdoor Shannon, but others are much more eager.

In particular, Brandi and Ariadna are the two people who are pushing this agenda the most. They are constantly in Ross’ ear telling him that he needs to backdoor Shannon because she’s a huge threat. Ross is worried that making this big move will put a target on his back. Also, for the time being, Shannon and James seem to be loyal to him.

Another problem for Ross is that almost everyone knows about the plan. To test the waters, Ross and Marissa have talked to everyone except for James and Shannon about this plan. The ball has started rolling and not doing it at this point might almost be a bigger mistake.

However, the fact that Ross has failed to commit to a plan either way is making himself a target regardless of what he does. Brandi and Ariadna are already whispering about him as a long-term threat in the game and they seem wary of his relationship with Marissa as well. This season is condensed and so are the flips, because it seems like every time a group comes together, they’re already plotting against each other within 24 hours.

Celebrity Big Brother Recap: The First Eviction>>>

The game really does come down to Monday night’s Power of Veto competition. If Keshia or Omarosa win it, Ross will probably have no choice but to nominate Shannon, even though Mark has offered himself up as a pawn. If someone like Brandi, Ariadna or Metta wins it, they’d probably use it and force Ross to backdoor Shannon. If Shannon or James wins it, the whole backdoor plan is moot as they would probably keep the nominations the same.

The most interesting scenarios are if Ross, Marissa or even Mark wins it. If it’s Ross or Marissa, using it and backdooring Shannon would get all of the blood on their hands and I’m not sure they’d be able to pull the trigger. With Mark, though he’s on board with evicting Shannon, he’s also close to James and that may lead to him not using it.

This is only the second live eviction, and just like the first, we have no real idea what’s going to happen. Thewre’s a very good chance that Shannon gets backdoored and evicted, leaving her dazed and confused since she’ll go from feeling safe to out the door in a matter of minutes. If the nominations stay the same, Omarosa will probably be evicted as Marissa, Brandia and Ariadna want to work with Keshia, but James and Shannon’s side are pushing for Keshia to go since she’s the bigger threat.
