Big Brother 10
could have been so much different. Even if we are only a few weeks into the season, I'm already sad about all the missed opportunities. For my money, the two smartest and most interesting houseguests were Brian
, two people who became best friends and two people who have now been evicted. It's all Brian's fault, really. If he hadn't played the game so damn hard in the first week, the Brian-Angie-Steven
triumvirate could have been an excellent alliance. But, alas, it was not to be, and Angie is the latest evicted houseguest on Big Brother 10
. We had the chance to talk with Angie this morning about her time in the Big Brother.
Below you will find the written transcript and the full mp3 audio of the interview.

The below interview contains spoilers about this week's Head of Household. I didn't include it in the written transcript, but it is in the MP3. Consider yourself warned.
Hey, this is Oscar Dahl from BuddyTV and I'm here with Angie from Big Brother 10. Angle how you doing
I'm doing great, how are you?
Pretty good. So, first off, great speech last night. I thought it was one of the better pre-live vote speeches we've seen in a long time. Was that extemporaneous or something you prepared throughout the week?
I had started preparing it a couple of days before. It just came down to there being a mob mentality in the house and I was trying to just individualize everybody again and have them realize that no matter who they feel like is running the show and how scared they may be, that they need to start realizing that they have to play for themselves. They need to vote out the person that is going to be the biggest threat to them moving forward.
It was very persuasive. Did you think you had a chance of staying around or were you pretty sure your fate was sealed?
As much as I wanted to hope that that speech may have changed people's minds I was pretty certain that I was going home. It was a last ditch effort, I hoped for the best, but I expected the zero vote total.
For the life of me, I can't really understand where Keesha was coming from and why she targeted you? What's your thought on why she truly wanted you out?
I really had no idea that I was the target for Keesha and it came down to the fact that both her and I had a close friendship with Steven, so I would be the last person I would think that she would want to put up on the block. But it just boiled down to the fact that Keesha thought I stabbed Steven in the back when he left, she thought that I was in the planning stages of getting Steven out of the house. So that all made sense, but once we clarified and cleared that up it was almost as if “OK, well we're still going forward with you being nominated.” That just made me realize that perhaps there was other underlying issues that came from her nominating me. Not only that, I think Libra and April filled her head with ideas that I was coming after her. Them being the people in the house that she trusts, she's going to believe them more than me having a conversation with her.
Watching the show, I don't know if you've seen any footage, you got the sense that Libra and April had some sort of inexplicable dislike of you. Did you catch on to that at all...
Do you have any idea why that was?
You know I guess it just came...it's kind of like cliques in high school. If someone is not being nice or sucking up or hanging out with certain people they come up with their own rational reasons why someone may be like that, so it just turns into a "I don't like you, you don't like me" mentality in the house and they kind of just ran with it.
The high school cliques is really kind of right on. It seemed like from the beginning you didn't really get along with some of the ladies in the house, not through any fault of your own. Do you think that you could have if you tried harder, you could have gotten in and become better friends with them or do you think it was kind of a lost cause from the beginning?
If Libra wasn't part of the whole picture I believe that me trying to be friends with April and Keesha would have been very easy, because the conversations that I had with Keesha, she's very similar to my personality. But, I felt Libra was so abrasive that it was hard for me to play nice because she wasn't gonna be playing nice, no olive branches to me, so once they got to the point where I maybe thought about changing my game plan it was a little too late. Because, quite honestly, if anyone were to do that to me I'd see right through it. As much as I don't like to give them credit I know they would have seen me from a mile away trying to be nice and trying to get them to change their minds.
Looking back at the season so far and what you did, I was trying to find what maybe your biggest tactical mistake would have been and it all comes back to being friends with Brian. His blunders, his overplaying the game early on kind of sealed your fate. Do you think that was your biggest mistake and do you think that if Brian had toned down his gameplay you would have been in a different position?
Oh, absolutely yeah. I think that the biggest mistake looking back is...if I had the knowledge that I know now, that as soon as Libra and Ollie came up and said we need to have Jerry put Brian up right away, let's go upstairs and tell Jerry he needs to do that...if I had known I would never have agreed to do that. I probably would have went straight to Brain and told him what was going on and hopefully he would have been able to change that whole situation and keep Brian in the house.
Looking forward, what are you predictions on how this season will play out? Do you have any favorites?
I'm really hoping that Memphis wins. I think that he's a great guy and I also hope Michelle wine. Those were the two that were the closest to me in the house, so I'm probably a little biased. As far as predictions go, as much as I hate to say it, I think that if Libra stays in the house for the next couple weeks she has a really good chance at winning the game, because she's able to bully everybody and get everyone to do her bidding. I'm excited to see what happens.
You are the last evicted houseguest who doesn't have to go to sequester. Would you have rather stayed one more week and been on the jury or, knowing you were going to be evicted, are you happy to go home?
I'm so happy to be going home, I'm not going to lie. And to be honest with you it would have been very difficult for me if it came down to two players that I absolutely couldn't stand in the house and there were the lesser of two evils and having to give one of them half a million dollars - tt would have made me throw up a little bit if I had to do that.
