American actress AnnaLynne McCord was born on July 16, 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia. She began acting in 2002, making her debut in the horror flick The Middle of Nowhere, in a supporting role. Her next role would come three years later, with a minor role in the action film Transporter 2. Her career then began to pick up, with guest roles in shows such as The OC, Close to Home, Ugly Betty, Cold Case and CSI: Miami.
McCord’s first regular television role was in the limited-run telenovela American Heiress, which aired in 2007. She played the role of Loren Wakefield. The series was the last that MyNetworkTV produced in its all-telenovela format; low ratings forced the series off the air after only 26 episodes went to air. The network’s decision to abandon its original format meant McCord did not begin to work on another serial, Rules of Deception; it was yanked in preproduction.
In 2007, McCord was included in the cast of Nip/Tuck’s fifth season. In the drama series, she was Eden Lord, the daughter of Julia McNamara’s (Joely Richardson) new lover, Olivia (Portis de Rossi), who makes sexual advances towards Julia’s husband Sean (Dylan Walsh) and manipulates his daughter Annie (Kelsey Batelaan). This was followed by another regular role, this time in the drama series 90210. She portrayed the role of Naomi Clark, the rich and spoiled girl who is popular among her peers.
