American Idol is about to come to an end, with the 15th and final season of the show that has created superstar after superstar about to premiere. But before the winner is announced, we must get through a final round of auditions, Hollywood Week, semifinals and finals.

The early stages of season 15 have been filmed. And judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr. have already narrowed the field down to the Top 24, though we won’t see that public unveiling for a while.

For now, though, we can listen to the Top 24. American Idol has released a new video of the 24 semifinalists performing American Authors’ “Best Day of My Life.” The catch? They’re in shadow, so we don’t actually get to see who they are, only what they sound like. This is similar to a video Idol released for season 14.

The great thing about this video is that it allows us to view everything in 360 degrees. After the video starts playing, you can click and drag your mouse to see all the mystery singers doing what they do best.

Take a look at the performance below:

We can’t tell you who makes it to Hollywood… but we’ve got a special 360° sneak peek at your Top 24!

For now, we’re hearing the Top 24 as a group. We’ll have to watch American Idol season 15 in order to hear their solo voices. But even in shadow, we can get a sense of some of their fashion styles. Some of them are wearing hats — one is a cowboy hat, so we can assume that there’s at least one country music artist this season.

What do you think of this video? Did you like hearing their voices together? Are you excited to see the final group of singers take to the stage and crowning a winner one last time?

American Idol season 15 premieres Wednesday, January 6 at 8pm on FOX.
