It’s clear that season 2 of The Vampire Diaries will be about one thing: emotional drama. The newest promo for the CW series may not include new footage from the episodes, but the titillating trailer includes plenty of shots of Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder looking smolderingly hot.
Season 2 will certainly focus heavily on the love square which ironically only involves three actors since Dobrev is pulling double duty as Katherine and Elena. Set to the beautiful song “Cosmic Love” by Florence and the Machine, check out the artistic and sexy new trailer. For my money, the best part comes about 10 seconds in when Nina and Ian give the dirtiest, sexiest looks to the camera.
The Vampire Diaries returns Thursday, September 9 at 8pm on the CW.
