The Real World has wrapped up yet another season. Last night, fans witnessed the roommates go head-to-head as pranks were taken too far.  While this nearly destroyed the bond between the girls and the guys, the Brooklyn cast ultimately learned to love and hate each other while pursuing their lifelong dreams.  But the emotion, excitement and suspense didn’t end there as viewers were also treated with a Brooklyn Reunion Special, in which the cast gathered for a full update of the season.

The Real World: Brooklyn cast included Chet Cannon, Ryan Conklin, Scott Herman, J.D. Ordonez, Sarah Rice, Devyn Simone, Baya Voce and Katelynn Cusanelli, the first transwoman on the series.

Another end to a dramatic season, but for Real World fans, the show will be returning yet again as MTV is ordering four more seasons of its veteran hit reality series. The order will extend the docudrama to 26 cycles.

Aside from The Real World, which is currently shooting the next round, The Real World: Cancun, the network is also ordering four more seasons of The Real World/Road Rules Challenge, rounding up the competition series to 21 cycles.

“It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while, and it’s easier to do in a big metropolitan area,” executive producer Jon Murray said of the Brooklyn season’s tweaked format of not giving cast members jobs.  “The season after Cancun, a location that hasn’t been announced yet, I think might be like that too.”

Meanwhile, fans can catch The Real World / Road Rules Challenges: The Duel II on Wednesday, April 8 at 10pm as TJ Lavin returns as host to 26 thrill seekers who will begin their journey towards the ultimate cash prize totaling $300,000.  Viewers can expect some of the most intense games and extreme challenges including cliff jumps, canyon swings and bungee drops as MTV brings the show to Queenstown, New Zealand.
