The Real Wedding Crashers, a new hidden-camera reality show broadcast on NBC, is based on the 2005 comedy Wedding Crashers that starred Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. With entertainingly comical plots, the show aims to provide viewers with a unique wedding event filled with humor, practical jokes and absurdity.

While most couples aspire for the perfect wedding day, couples on the show The Real Wedding Crashers team up with five crashers to create the most unforgettable wedding weekend their guest will remember for the rest of their lives. The team of crashers, consisting of Gareth Reynolds, Ben Gleib, Catherine Reitman, Desi Lydic, and Steve Byrne, is designed to perk up the party and keep the guests from boredom. They intend to go undercover as typical wedding staff and guests, ranging from the wedding planner, the waiter, a long lost friend, or even the pastor, to make hilarious prankster tricks and antics.

Ashton Kutcher, best known for his prankster show Punk’d, Karey Burke, Rich Meehan, Jon Kroll, Jim Rosenthal and Jason Goldberg with New Line Cinema are the producers of the show. Premiering on April 23, The Real Wedding Crashers airs Mondays at 10/9C on NBC.
