On FOX, the network has officially picked up SYTYCD for season 12, to air summer 2015. However, this time the show will have a new format: Stage vs. Street. During the auditions, contestants will be divided into two groups. The Stage performers will be the ones trained in traditional styles like Contemporary, Jazz or Ballet while the Street dancers are the ones who special in Hip-Hop or Breaking.

Each of the two teams will be separately trained by an All-Star Mentor. The Top 20 will feature 10 dancers from each team, at which point they will go into the live shows and get voted on by the public.

ANTM, Penn and Teller: Fool Us, Masters of Illusion and SYTYCD will all return in 2015.
