5 Things You Need to Know About Bachelorette Star Rachel Lindsay>>>

“We’re thrilled to have Rachel Lindsay as our next Bachelorette,” said ABC senior vice president Robert Mills. “This coveted role is always reserved for a fan-favorite from the previous season, and Rachel is no exception and has been the fans’ choice since she exited the limo. She is an accomplished, confident and beautiful woman who knows what she wants in life. We all look forward to joining her on the joyous journey as she looks for that one special man.”

“Winning in court has never been a problem” for Lindsay “but finding that great love is a case that unfortunately remains open.” Will she have better luck at finding love as the Bachelorette? According to the press release, she’s looking for a future husband who’s smart, funny and who will be willing to fight for her attention with the two men in her life: her nephew Allister and her dog Cooper.

Lindsay immediately became a fan favorite after receiving the first impression rose from Nick Viall on The Bachelor season 21. She continued to impress Viall during their one-on-one date in the streets of downtown New Orleans and became more confident in her relationship with him during their one-on-one date in a local bar in Bimini. While she had undeniable chemistry with Viall, the early revelation that she would be the next Bachelorette star meant her journey on The Bachelor would soon come to an end.
