The reality star told E! News that her “first priority is obviously being a mom, and everything else takes a backseat to that.”

“I am a Christian, and I don’t feel it’s appropriate to date until you’re legally divorced,”added Parks. “Once I divorce I will definitely consider dating, but at this point, my sons [Dylan and Ayden] are my first priority.”

With Nida in jail, Parks assumes all parenting obligations and responsibilities.

“I think being a single mom is tough because you’re the sole provider and you have all the responsibilities on your shoulders,” she said. “Just knowing you don’t have a partner to rely on [is tough[, but you know, you just have to pull up your boot straps and keep going.”

“I think it would be irresponsible of me for to bring men around my child while I’m still married, and [to let them be around] people that I don’t plan to get serious with,” Parks continued.

At the moment, Parks is busy working as an entertainment attorney, author and as a cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which airs Sundays at  at 8pm on Bravo.
