It’s been a big premiere week for The Real Housewives, so besides getting the drama started on the beginnings of their respective seasons, here’s some of what has been going on behind the scenes.

The End is Near

It’s been a long and bumpy divorce process for the stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Adrienne Maloof and Dr. Paul Nassif, but now it finally looks like they’re coming to an agreement.

“We’re happy to announce we have reached agreement on a settlement that we are both very pleased with,” the couple said in a statement to People. “Divorce is a painful process under any circumstance and certainly more painful under the constant glare of the media spotlight. There has been so much untrue negative innuendo and destructive rumors beyond our control in the last few months.”

Though the details of the settlement weren’t released, and there was nothing said of the exchanged abuse allegations, the two indicated that they are moving on as co-parents to their three sons.

Call Him Big Poppa

We know Kim Zolciak of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has her prince charming and fairy tale family now, but remember back in the days of the first few seasons when her anonymous billionaire boyfriend was keeping her set up? Well now it seems like “Big Poppa” (aka Lee Najjar) has gotten himself into more trouble than Kim could cause with his credit cards.

Big Poppa was arrested this week in Fulton County, Atlanta, for “failing to appear in court to face allegations he failed to maintain a storm water system at one of his properties,” according to TMZ. He was released on probation and will be forced to pay a $75,000 fine. Yikes, Big Poppa, you could have gotten Kim like four Birkin bags for that much!

More New Wives of New York?

Casting rumors always run rampant after a season of The Real Housewives ends, and it seems they’re already beginning for The Real Housewives of New York City. According to the New York Post, fashion journalist and “underwear guru” Jene Luciani filmed a screen test for the show this week.

“They went to a meeting for her lingerie-inspired handbag line, a pole-dancing fitness class, and met her 3-year-old daughter at her country home,” an inside source said. Hmmm… sounds interesting. But who would get the axe to make room for a new cast member? One of last season’s new additions or one of the veterans? Our money is on an adieu to the Countess.

Richards Sisters Drama

No matter what season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills we’re watching, we can always count on drama between sisters Kyle and Kim Richards. Kim talked about their strained relationship earlier this week, and now Kyle is giving her opinion about their struggles.

“My sister Kim and I love each other but still clash at times. I wasn’t angry that she didn’t want to come to [my daughter’s] party. Just a little hurt,” Kyle wrote in her Bravo blog. “That aside, I love seeing my sister looking healthy, happy and strong. I am beyond proud of her and pray everyday that she stays this way.”

Kyle also touched on the subject on Watch What Happens Live:
