A little over a week after Bravo announced that The Real Housewives of Potomac has been picked up for another season, the cast has reportedly started filming. According to the Washington Post, all six original housewives are returning.

“[Bravo] was really looking but couldn’t find anyone else to do it,” a source told Washington Post,  adding that Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson Jordan and Katie Rost are on press lock down until filming wraps up.

“They’re stuck with who they were able to get,” said the insider.

Prior to the renewal, cast members Huger, Darby, and Bryant already talked to Bustle about what viewers can expect from the new episodes.

“I mean, I didn’t want to be the poster child for race relations on the Housewives,” Bryant told Bustle. “But I’m happy that the dialogue started and we all are clear as to who and what we are, and it’s great that we now respect each other’s background… I want to show my life, my family, my parents, my kids, my spirituality — that was something that I didn’t get to touch on in Season 1.”

“It was really a matter of growth, and learning to accept each other as who we are and not try to make us look at the world in the same way through the same lens,” Darby said of the change of dynamics of the cast going into the new season. “I’ve grown up a lot over this past year. It’s been such a transitional year, and I’d love for that to be shown to the world.”

“I have a phenomenal mother, I have a rich culture — which I didn’t even get to touch on because I was so busy … I’m looking forward to sharing more of the essence of Karen,” added Huger.
