Who says Girlicious has stolen the glam crown from the Pussycat Dolls?  Fans get ready because the Dolls are in fact heading back to stage with a brand new album that’s coming up in the next few months.  The band’s lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger, reportedly put her struggling solo career on hold while the sexy girl band got back together to create their sophomore album.  In fact, PR-Inside reports that the Dolls enlisted the help of Taio Cruz, the man behind the U.K. hit “Come on Girl.”

“I want to do something that will be a complete contrast to their usual style,” Cruz told PR-Inside.  “Nicole [Scherzinger] has put her solo career on hold to concentrate on PCD so it’s a really important album.  Since ‘Come On Girl,’ I’ve been receiving lots more calls about writing for people.”

The new single from the upcoming album of the Pussycat Dolls, “When I Grow Up,” is produced by Rodney Jerkins and was debuted in the Jimmy Kimmel show on May 20.  Click on the clip below to see the Dolls sample some fresh new music on the show.

Fans will get to see more of the Dolls as they will be hosting the “Maxim Hot 100” television special on VH1 on Tuesday, May 27 at 9pm.  The special is the television version of the Hot 100 issue of Maxim, which hit retail stores on May 20.  The special will feature the Hot 100 women themselves, with exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.  Among the Hot 100 featured on the list are L.A. Ink’s Kat Von D, MySpace queen Tila Tequila and U.K. pop star Natasha Bedingfield.

Tonight, the Pussycat Dolls are going On Air with Ryan Seacrest and will also be featured in the E! True Hollywood Story.  To kick off the Memorial Day weekend, the Dolls will also perform live at Pure Vegas.  Also don’t forget to catch the MTV Movie Awards on June 1, as the Pussycat Dolls are set to perform onstage at the event.
