On tonight’s episode of Project Runway, the designers were surprised by season 4 designer Chris March, dressed completely in drag.  Obviously, tonight’s theme will be all about drag queens and the contestants will get to show off their most outrageous and over the top designs.  After they pick their models, the designers meet with Tim, who tells them that their outfits will be auctioned off for Broadway Cares: Equity Fights AIDS.  The drag queens visit the studio to meet with their designers and give their input before the materials are bought for the outfits.  Some of the ideas thrown out there are: sexy, fiery, futuristic, bright, and retro.

The clients come in for their fittings and have strong opinions on what they want to wear on the runway.  Korto’s model, Sweetie, wants her to cut the design a little to be a little more form fitting.  Jerell’s model doesn’t love her design, because she doesn’t like over the top outfits.  Joe’s model wants her design to be more feminine.  Hedda Lettuce, Suede’s model, calls him lazy and says the design looks too much like Godzilla.

Tim and Chris make the rounds together to give some feedback.  Tim calls Blayne’s design a “pterodactyl out of a gay Jurassic Park”.  Chris and Tim defend the gloves that Suede made and said that he should make his model wear them.  The pair feel that Keith has a long way to go with his design and aren’t totally sold out.  Tim wants Daniel to make his top stand out a little more because at this point, he just thinks it’s boring.

After the designs are shown on the runway, the judges give their feedback.  Keith, Jerell, and Daniel score the lowest and end up in the bottom.  Joe was named the winner of the challenge and will receive immunity in the next challenge.  Daniel and Keith land in the bottom.  Heidi thought Daniel played it safe and gave too many excuses.  She told Keith that his design was random, unpolished, and unoriginal.  In the end, it was Daniel who was eliminated and tomorrow, he’ll talk to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview.
