Following next week’s highly anticipated 10th episode plus two more weeks of reruns, Moonlight will be kicking off the new year with a fresh episode entitled “Love Lasts Forever.”  Expected to air on January 4, this second to the last episode is reported to “put a big spinner in the works” that will affect the way Beth (Sophia Myles) and Mick (Alex O’Loughlin) feel about each other.

Read on to find out what’s in store for the 11th episode of Moonlight.

After Mick discovers a secret his best friend, Josef (Jason Dohring), has kept from him for over 40 years, which is also the real reason why Mick and Beth can never work, another mysterious revelation unfolds.

“Love Lasts Forever” sees the combined efforts of Mick, Beth, her boyfriend Josh (Jordan Belfi), and one of her contacts, Carl (Brian J. White).  Described as an action-filled story with lots of guns and a lot of Spanish speaking people, this installment divulges a massive mystery in which Beth discovers an unwanted blood connection.

The suspenseful episode features Josh working on the biggest case of his career, a conviction against a member of the MS-13 gang, possibly the most dangerous bunch of criminals in the world.  Although the mob threatens Beth, Josh refuses to fold and doesn’t drop the case.  Instead, he seeks Mick’s help in protecting Beth.  On the other hand, Josh is left defenseless and is kidnapped with shocking results.

Meanwhile, Mick and Beth visit Dr. Mimi Lin in an effort to analyze a vial of blood.  It is said to be a rare blood type, AO negative, since only one person for every 1 million people has it.  Ironically, Beth is that one in a million.
