Danielle Staub, former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, returned to Bravo last night (even though she claims she hasn’t turned Bravo on once after leaving the show in 2010) for a one-on-one interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.

Danielle hit on a number of topics, but if any RHONJ fans were expecting crazy, they may have been a little disappointed. She did not seem bitter at all; in fact, she maintained a very calm demeanor. She did, however, defend herself when necessary.

After Andy showed a clip of Jacqueline Laurita on WWHL talking about how Danielle was stalking her, Danielle replied by saying, “”I think she needs to put the wine away and possibly seek help for that.”

“I have not been around her. I haven’t tweeted. I haven’t talked,” Danielle clarified. “I moved on from her the moment she showed me her true colors.”

Danielle claims that she was being genuine at the season 2 reunion when she tried to make amends with Jacqueline, but their relationship was too seriously damaged after Jacqueline trashed her all over Twitter.

“I did genuinely hug her goodbye because I felt like we had a relationship at one time and I felt bad for her because I felt she was caught between family and friendship, but in time, after that, when I thought we were just going to move on from it, I would just read horrific things on Twitter and I just knew then that was never going to be someone I could move on from.”

Andy then showed Danielle a clip of Caroline Manzo on WWHL saying that she regretted her meeting with Danielle in which she called her a clown. But Danielle was skeptical about her regret. “I’m not buying it, but thank you” was her response.

As for the Melissa Gorga vs. Teresa Giudice debacle on the current season, Danielle is surprisingly on Team Teresa.

“I love Teresa,” Danielle told Andy. “I have absolutely no problems with Teresa.”

Not only does Danielle firmly stand behind Teresa, but she confirmed some rumors that Melissa had contacted her team to make Teresa look bad.

“She wanted to film during season 2 and she thought it would be a good way to get back at Teresa, and I said I wanted absolutely nothing to do with that,” Danielle explained. “However, I would forward all her emails, which were a lot, to the producers, which I did, which is how with two seasons of her being behind the scenes, on camera but behind the scenes, she all of a sudden became a person of interest and that’s how she landed on the show.”

“I think it would be good for her to just come clean,” she continued. “I wanted nothing to do with what she wanted to do to Teresa. It’s not my place. I don’t play with that. Karma has a return policy and it isn’t an exchange.”

Danielle also sympathizes with Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice’s current legal situation.

“I feel bad for them,” she said. “They’re people. They’re a family. Things that are very bad are happening to them. It would be real wrong of anyone to enjoy that.”
